‘Prophet Joseph’ to return on iFilm’s screen

Iranian popular historical series ‘Prophet Joseph’ is set to be added to iFilm English TV's playlist.

Written and directed by Farajollah Salahshour, the series hits the air on Monday, July 8, 2024.

‘Prophet Joseph’ is the Iranian version of the very beloved story of Prophet Joseph, the son of Prophet Jacob, who guided the Israelites to pray to the One and Only God.

Prophet Joseph is dear to Jews, Christians and Muslims alike. For centuries, the story of his life has been told over and over in many different ways and many different languages.

The most notable actors on the cast list are Mostafa Zamani, Jafar Dehqan, Mahmoud Pakniyyat, Jahanbakhsh Soltani, Elham Hamidi, and Rahim Norouzi.

‘Prophet Joseph’, made in 2008, is scheduled to replace ‘The First Night of Peace’, to be aired daily at 23:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV also repeats each episode of the historical series the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00.
